FROM OPEN BRIEF TO REGIONAL EDITORIAL FRAMEWORK
Given a broad mandate around AI and climate resilience in ASEAN’s building sector, I developed the editorial strategy and content architecture for a six-market e-book series spanning Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.
The challenge was creating one coherent regional narrative without flattening six very different markets into the same story. I developed a repeatable editorial framework that gave the series a consistent structure while leaving enough flexibility for each market’s priorities, maturity and built environment to shape the narrative.
The resulting stories move from digital twins and dense urban development to climate resilience, infrastructure growth and emerging sustainable-building priorities — distinct local perspectives held together by a single regional framework.

I launched Des Res in August 2025 as an independent editorial platform spanning architecture, design, hospitality and ways of living across Bali and Southeast Asia.
I conceived and built the entire platform independently from the ground up, including positioning, editorial strategy, brand identity, site design and build, content architecture, creative direction, publishing and distribution. I have written the editorial output since.

From 286 to 21K monthly Google search impressions between launch and March 2026, without paid distribution.
Search visibility has since grown to 32K+ monthly impressions on a significantly lighter publishing cadence. Des Res now surfaces organically in both Google search and leading AI platforms for relevant Bali architecture and design queries.
